The richest young Asians in their 20s and 30s come from all around the region, including China, Singapore, Japan and India. In the global rankings, China has the second largest total number of billionaires in the world, after the US with over 200, so it also has the highest number of young billionaires. Not too surprisingly, the majority of these young billionaires have created their wealth in the technology industry.
1. Yang Huiyan

The top earning young billionaire on the list is Yang Huiyan, a 35-year-old woman from China. She has a net worth of $7.1 billion, and is the vice-chairman and majority shareholder of Country Garden Holdings, a property development company. She was given her stake in 2007 by her Father.
2. Arun Pudur

38-year old Arun Pudur, who is the only Indian on the list, has an impressive net worth of $4 billion. He is the CEO of a company called Celframe, maker of the world’s second most popular office suite after Microsoft. At the age of 13, Arun started a bicycle repair business with $150 borrowed from his mother. He later sold it for $200,000, and reputedly was a billionaire by the age of 26. He founded Celframe in Bangalore just after he finished university. His recent ventures include opening a casino and starting an airline in South Africa.
3. Yusaku Maezawa

37-year-old Yusaka Maezawa from Japan has a net worth of $2.7 billion. He is both a professional musician and the founder of the biggest e-mall for apparel in Japan, Zozotown. His built his fortune in the 90s when he started out selling CD’s and records from his own home.

39-year old Zhou Yahui is the founder of Kunlan, China's largest web games distribution company. He recently purchased the US dating app, Grindr, and has just partnered with Finnish game maker, Rovio, to adapt the Angry birds game for the Chinese market. His net worth is valued at approximately $2.2 billion.

Zhang Bangxin has a net worth estimated at $1.8 billion, and made his fortune in the field of education. He is the co-founder, chairman and CEO of US-listed TAL Education, an after school tutoring service provider. Tutoring was one of Zhang’s part time jobs during university. He started as a one-man business, but developed his company into a huge organization which today tutors over 500 000 students.

In his thirties, He Zhitao is a Chinese manufacturer of information system software, and has a net worth of around $1.2 billion. He is the chairman of Hangzhou Liaison Interactive Information Technology, and the bulk of his fortune comes from his shares in the Shenzhen-listed firm.

Naruatsu Baba is Japan’s richest entrepreneur under the age of 40. His net worth is $1.2 billion, and he made his fortune as an entrepreneur in the smartphone game development area. He remains the main shareholder of Colopl, the company which he founded in 2008.

Pang Shengdong from China is an IT specialist worth $1.2 billion. He is the vice chairman of Shanghai 2345 Network Holding Group, as well as the founder of 51.com. He is also known as a philanthropist thanks to his large donations to Ningbo University.
